Chapter 15 In Class-Lab

Chapter 15 covers the different and varying ways you can approach your utilization of sources for your research project. The first way is to introduce some sort of idea or argument that you support that maybe some others do not. The best way to convey to the reader that your point of view is correct is not by overwhelming the reader with your biased but simply stating your opinion and why it differs from others. Contrasting the ideas must be done without over stating your beliefs but showing the differences between beliefs. Being detail oriented and specific is very important in this portion of the project. Evidence is everything so I will be sure to include plenty from other credible sources as well. If you have the option of using some sort of authority figure like a celebrity or political body to support your argument this is extremely helpful. Personally I am a hands on and visual type of person. Reading things does not always get the point across 100% to me so including illustrations or clarifying statements to vary grades of details will help convey thoughts or processes much easier. Strategically quoting something or someone is particularly important because you want to state your opinions or arguments and provide two or three examples of others proving this point. Using images, audio, and video can also provide proof and support of your argument. While drafting it is important to proof read and ensure all of your sources are properly identified.
