Chapter 11

Chapter 11 covers how to determine and develop your thesis statement. Your thesis statement is the groundwork for your entire project so it must be as strong as it possibly can be. Reviewing all notes and sources thoroughly to help determine your position on the subject is the first thing you want to do. I am keeping an open mind going into this review process because my stance on the subject may vary from what It was originally. My role in this project is to educate people of what has been happening at VA’s and what hasn’t. It is also to put forth the ideal ground work that would provide a solution to the current problem. I know that this research paper applies to many people that have been affected by events with the VA therefore I have reflected on who would be reading this paper and how it applies to them. This helps you tremendously in your effort to create a strong introduction and thesis statement. Although the aim of the project is broad the thesis statement is going to be very definitive in the direction the project is going. A highly focused thesis will be instrumental in getting the information out there and presenting it in the correct way.
