Chapter 6

Organization and compiling of sources and information is going to be huge for me. Generally I don’t do well with keeping an organized drive of information for my research paper. This chapter is helpful in finding ways to organize and keep record of all your important information that is going to generate your research paper. I own a removable hard drive so all of my sources, documentation, and the physical paper will be stored on it. I will also be saving a back up version on a home laptop hard drive. I will be sure to include dates on all saved documents and note their worthiness to be used. Sometimes at work I have a few minutes to browse the internet to find additional sources for my paper so I will be utilizing email to ensure I can find those sources later for the writing process. I will be directly quoting most of my sources to avoid any confusion or paraphrasing that’s technically not paraphrasing. Some of the sources are quite long so a self summarization will be something I conduct normally to shorten the length down and I will ensure to cite the work properly. I will be using multiple sources from multiple templates not just websites to ensure a variety of credible and useable documents.
